Post-COVID Recovery and Its Impact on the GR Practices in the Region

Social distancing and self-isolation not only lead to keeping families apart. There is more to it than that. Implications can be traced everywhere. Thus, they are also separating politicians from constituents and others, trying to shape public policy. For a profession that is so heavily dependent on in-person interaction, COVID-19 will indeed have long-lasting effects.

It seems that video meetings are here to stay, as people are willing to remain cautious about social interaction. We have to get used to the fact that most of our work will be conducted remotely. In terms of in-person interaction, only assemblies and opportunities of crucial importance will probably need it.

During the panel, the speakers will discuss:

• Are face-to-face meetings a thing of the past? Are there better tools than making one’s case directly?
• How are relationships supposed to be evolved, bearing in mind that the post-COVID world is around us?
• What are the emerging GR tools and strategies for the post-COVID period?
